Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE)

A parent-based program for kids and teens struggling with anxiety, OCD and related concerns.

SPACE helps parents learn about anxiety/OCD and accommodation to create concrete plans for increasing opportunities for building bravery and confidence over the course of about 10-12 weeks.

In weekly meetings, parents learn how to respond supportively to their child’s worries and help increase their confidence in the face of worry to help reduce worry, not just in the moment, but throughout life.

A great fit for kids who might not be ready or willing to engage in their own individual therapy just yet.

SPACE has been found to reduce overall family stress, as well as help anxiety disorders go into remission.
