Individual Therapy

I specialize in working with kids, teens, and families struggling with anxiety and OCD. I provide evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention. Worry can really get in the way of life. Common signs of anxiety and OCD in youth can be:

  • Avoidance situations or social activities that cause anxiety

  • Perfectionism and rigidity

  • Difficulty sleeping or regular nightmares

  • Trouble focusing on the task at hand

  • Excessive worry about everyday situations

  • Headaches, stomachaches and fatigue

  • Irritability

  • Difficulty separating from parents

  • Regular, unwanted, intrusive thoughts that cause distress

  • Repeated actions to reduce distress or prevent something from happening

  • Excessive concerns around a particular theme (contamination, illness, harming self/others, need for symmetry/things to be just right)

What we offer:

Treatment for:

  • Generalized Anxiety

  • Separation Anxiety

  • School Avoidance

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

  • Phobias

  • Panic Disorder

In individual therapy, we use evidence-based interventions to help kids and teens learn how worry works, identify their own worry cycle, and take steps to confidently approach their worries and fears. We work towards living your best life and being able to handle worry whenever and however it shows up, even as we get older.
